🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨 The Ron Foley Pancreatic Cancer Foundation has provided an extensive grant, which will help our experts at the Cancer Institute evaluate a rehabilitation program for patients who suffer from pancreatic cancer.Hear from Dr. Oscar Serrano, a pancreatic surgeon at Hartford Hospital, who breaks down everything you need to know about the impact this grant will have in improving outcomes for our patients.Thanks to the Ron Foley Foundation's grant, we will ultimately be able to embrace our commitment to excellent care for our communities! 🙏

DID YOU KNOW?•According to statistics from ZERO Prostate Cancer, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American men after skin cancer. This year alone, it is expected that just over 299,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed.•The ZERO Prostate Cancer Walk/Run took place earlier this month, which was proudly sponsored by the Hartford HealthCare Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute. In this year’s event, 400 registrants came together at Dunkin’ Park (home of Hartford Yard Goats Baseball) to walk, run, volunteer, and ultimately raise awareness about the significance of prostate cancer in our communities. •An incredible $117,000 were raised in the effort to more equitably screen and treat those who may be at risk of prostate cancer! Thank you to all participants who made this year’s Walk/Run a success.
