Global Lab Updates – 14th June 2024 - BDFoundry (1)Including class hit count updates, Damage reduction/evasion/accuracy system changes were updated on the Korean official server on Thursday, June 13th.

Currently, many adventurers are checking the changes directly due to various changes,
You are at the stage of sharing your feelings about each content or learning about various ways to respond and deal with each other.

As “system changes” are applied and the foundation for balancing is laid, “Class adjustments” have also become clearer and are currently being confirmed.

This also takes into account trends over time and changes depending on the stage.
We will provide guidance on items that require adjustment through the Black Desert Research Institute.

  • The operation keys for the horseback attack of the character’s basic attack have been unified.
  • Some typos and unnatural colors in the description of character skill controls have been corrected.

  • Rosina, a barter on Hakoven Island, has begun offering appropriate crow coins to captains who come from distant regions for trade.
    • The minimum amount of Crow Coins that can be obtained when exchanging barter level 5 trade goods has been increased.

Item Changes

  • It has been changed so that the character does not make a cheering motion when acquiring the Specter’s Energy or Awakening Weapon box items.
  • The following basic gathering and fishing tools have been changed to no longer be obtainable.
    • White grade basic living tools can no longer be obtained through NPC shops, house crafting, quest rewards, etc.
      • When the official server is updated, if you own the item, you will be paid corresponding silver coins.

Erethea’s Trials

If you inevitably exit Eretea’s Trial while holding multiple Tokens of Forgotten Oblivion,
Improvements have been made so that you can continue the ongoing trials of Eretea through the re-entry method.

  • When holding the ‘Forgotten Limbo Seal’, it has been changed so that you cannot proceed with Erethea’s Trial by consuming the Forgotten Limbo Seal.

Siege/Node War Changes

Global Lab Updates – 14th June 2024 - BDFoundry (2)The fortress activation rules have been changed depending on the number of guilds (alliances) participating in the node war for each territory. The content is a change that prevents guilds that have pressed the participation button of less than a certain percentage (30%) from being included in the rules for activating the fortress 15 minutes before the start, when the territory participating in the node war is confirmed. If you are a guild that has applied to participate in a node war, you are not only included in the fortress activation rules, but you can participate in the node war as before even if less than a certain number of people click the participation button. This is a change to prevent the number of forts from being created excessively compared to the total number of participants in the node war, so that adventurers fighting in the node war can progress more smoothly and actively.
We are grateful that more adventurers are participating than before after the node battle update, and we will continue to improve and supplement so that more adventurers can enjoy it.

  • The following system rules have been added to the total number of node activated depending on the number of guilds (alliances) that have applied to participate in the node war territory group.
Before change

Activate a designated number of nodes depending on the number of guilds (alliances) that have applied to participate in each territory.

(However, if the number of guilds (alliances) applied to a territory is 4 or less, a node war will be held in 1 territory for the territory group, and 2 node forts will be activated.)

    (For example, if 8 guilds (alliances) participate in the node war in Balenos territory 15 minutes before the start of the node war, 4 node forts will be activated in Balenos territory.)

  • When a Node War/Conquest War is in progress, it has been changed so that you cannot enter the Black Shrine from the Node War/Conquest War server.

UI Changes

  • The following items have been added to the list of obtainable items in the monster zone information UI.
    • Traitor’s Grave: Kehel’s Relic – Maximum Stamina
  • The maximum level at which you can receive navigation guidance in the growth section has been changed from 20 to 30.
  • The system message displayed when boarding a mount has been improved.

Bug Fixes

  • An issue where, when moving and saving some UI through UI editing, the position of some UI would then move slightly has been fixed.
  • When proceeding with the quest ‘[Crafting] Blackstar Armor’, the issue where multiple buttons for handing over the Remnants of the Crack item were displayed has been fixed.
  • When using the pad-only UI, the following has been modified.
    • When setting up directions in the Barter Information UI, the issue where the directions were not updated after the first time has been fixed.
    • The issue where the unequipment key guide did not disappear when unequipping a crystal mounted in some crystal slots in the crystal equipping window has been fixed.
  • The issue where Abyss One: Magnus content’s ‘The Pendulum is Ticking’ and ‘Red Thread’ Abyss progress was not smooth has been fixed.
